The International Grenfell Association (IGA) is a non-profit organization that was incorporated in 1914 by British medical missionary Sir Wilfred T. Grenfell. The organization’s role was to provide health care, education, religious services, and rehabilitation and other social services to the fisherman and coastal communities of northern Newfoundland and coastal Labrador. Today, IGA offers funding for community projects and initiatives that serve to enhance the general well being of the residents of these regions.

The IGA is a charitable foundation dedicated to supporting the health, education and community well-being of the people of Northern Newfoundland and Coastal Labrador.

The IGA provides funds through grants in support of initiatives that benefit the health, education, social and cultural well-being of the people of Northern Newfoundland and Coastal Labrador, working in partnership with government and other agencies.
