Five years ago the St. Anthony Recreation Advisory Committee and the IGA partnered to create a bike –
skate park in St Anthony. Three years ago a partnership with the advisory, IGA, ACOA and the town of St.
Anthony a permanent location was established using asphalt, with just 4 pieces in the park as a trial run to determine interest in the park. Given that the bike/skate park is one of the  most popular parks, with up to 100 users per day, the Town has endeavored to expand the park.

In 2021 the IGA funded the expansion of Bottom Brooke Bike/Skate Park in the town of St. Anthony, to improve the healthy living, recreation and fitness of youth in the community. Additions to the park have been highly anticipated by the youth in the community. The Chair of Recreation Advisory Committee has said that despite NL’s traditional rain, drizzle, and fog which accompanied the completion of the project many users showed up as soon as the new equipment was installed to try it out.

Additions to the park include:

DYI Spine
