The IGA is proud to have provided funding to CNA in Happy Valley- Goose Bay as they endeavor to support students. CNA is providing their students with an opportunity to participate in a number of stress and anxiety relieving activities such as the Slipper Making Workshop.

Once a week for 8 weeks, a local artisan instructs students on the techniques needed to make their own slippers from moose hide, seal skin and fur. This workshop provides students with new or enhanced skills as well as provide a place to make new friends and build upon their own support networks.
The IGA is proud to support such endeavors in our service region!
