Megan is from St. Lewis and is attending Memorial University’s Grenfell Campus. She is working on a psychology degree with a concentration in French and has plans to apply to the MUN primary/elementary education program once she receives her degree.
While at high school, Megan was an active participant in Tutoring for Tuition (and presently, post-secondary tutoring programs), Junior Canadian Rangers, and student council—where she had the opportunity to attend three Provincial Student Leadership Conferences and one national conference. She also attended the Jack Summit and received a certificate of participation.
Megan has worked as a French lab helper and has completed eight two-hour sessions in a grade two French immersion class in Corner Brook. She tries to volunteer whenever possible. Megan’s goal is to return to Labrador after she finishes school to teach and work with children and their families.
